DUANE ANDREWS AND THE HOT CLUB OF CONCEPTION BAY
8.00

Duane Andrews casts a wide net in the musical world. Uniting what would seem to be impossible – traditional Newfoundland music with the swing jazz of the legendary two fingered guitarist Django Reinhardt, Andrews makes it not just work – he makes it soar.

The Juno award winning composer, arranger, producer, conductor and globetrotting performer’s latest album is the best evidence yet of his inimitable musical vision and is the sound of him, literally, bringing it all back home.

He’ll be joined by the hottest swing band in the bay The Hot Club of Conception Bay which features Erin Power (vocals/mandolins) and Isaac Andrews Power (fiddle/bass).

RELAY JAM
10.30

The Relay Jam is a highly dynamic Jam session that takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. This open format jam is fully backline and lead by the house band known as QB3D (Cubed). Alonzo "ZoMo" Moore, Marius Charlemagne, and Quincy Bullen work together to curate an experience for everyone on and off stage as they lead everyone through an improvised concert. Songs will be covers or originals, or a combination of the two but always encourages a fun and fresh approach to each performance. This shoulder tap jam is an exercise in professionalism but is always open to everyone. This jam will allow every musician to have a space for any genre, as long as it feels good!
