ARIANE MORIN’S BALKAN BRASS
8.00

Classic fiery balkan tunes, and maybe some klezmer, featuring some of the finest brass musicians from the Toronto music scene, led by Montrealer folk saxophonist Ariane Morin. With Max Forster on trumpet, Nathan Dell-Vandenberg on trombone and singing, Ian Tulloch on sousaphone and Naghmed Farahmand on percussions.

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

MASSIVE HOTDOG RECALL
11.30

Funny and high energy, they go with “trashcan horn rock” to describe their honest, midwest sound. A fan said that they sound like “Chicago on meth with a dusting of DEVO”. Don't call these boys Ska, they are a punk-leaning rock band with a solid horn section. These surly Gen X-ers are the opposite of lame, pedestrian, “Dad Rock”.

Their hefty sound features a 5 piece horn section with loud, distorted guitars and a hard hitting rhythm section. On stage, the horns have a VERY POWERFUL LOW-END SOUND and they keep an eye on trombonist & lead singer Al Mothersbaugh because he usually spins out and breaks his horn.

MONSTROSA
2.30

Through a mix of metal riffs, emo rock, and melodic vocals, front-woman Lauren Pryce summons her band of monsters to create a sonic experience like none other. Monstrosa is an alt metal project that takes influence from acts like Evanescence, Muse, and St. Vincent. They have released two albums and have played across and around Toronto, where their electric live show became a staple to their name. Monstrosa is currently tracking their new EP which promises to be the heaviest yet.
