CAMILA LOZADA
8.30
Camila's creative journey is a heartfelt exploration, driven by a deep love for musical self-expression and inspiration. Her Peruvian roots provide a rich tapestry of musical influences that have profoundly shaped her artistic identity.
As a Latin American woman living in Toronto and a recent graduate of Humber College, the intersection of cultures has fuelled her creativity. She believes music is a universal language that transcends barriers, connecting hearts across diverse backgrounds.
This project, composed of original music and built on collaboration, aligns with her vision of creating a harmonious blend of talents and perspectives that transcend individual brilliance. Each member of the band brings a unique and essential flavour to her music: Luis Anselmi on cuatro and keys, Manuel Alvarado on drums and percussion, Valeria Bravo on bass, Hiro Suzuki on electric and acoustic guitar, and Camila on lead vocals.
The band's performances include notable events such as the NXNE Festival, Mississauga Latin Festival, T.U. Jazz Fest, Winter Tide Concert, Humber New Vistas Concert, Arts Etobicoke, Muse Arts Spotlight Concert Series, City Hall Toronto Music Series, and LAMP.
